The calla lily is a plant that usually grows in swamps and ponds. It has a leaf like a heart and white flowers with yellow spadix in shape. The fruit is similar to red cherries, concentrated in clusters and contain many seeds.
Is this a poisonous plant when fresh, but when dried rhizomes can be eaten or boiled. It is also a healing plant since it is used in the treatment of flu, bleeding and snakebites.
